Frequently asked questions

Quick Answer:
You will not be charged for the free trial — the payment method is only collected to make enrollment easy if you choose to continue.
More Detail:
You will not be charged for a trial class. Our system asks for a payment method when creating your account so that, if you decide to enroll after the trial, the process is quick and seamless — no extra forms or steps. Once you let us know you’d like your child to continue, we’ll update their enrollment status and your account will be ready to go.
Rest assured, your information is secure, and you’ll only be billed if you choose to continue after the trial. Many families start with a trial to make sure it’s the right fit — and we want you to feel completely comfortable before enrolling.

Pointe is an approval-only class to keep dancers safe. Online registration is disabled so we can confirm each dancer has the required strength, foot flexibility, and technique before joining.
How to enroll:
Step 1: Email tenisha@emberdanceacademy.com to schedule a readiness evaluation.
Step 2: If the dancer is under 12, a doctor’s clearance is also required.
Step 3 (if this will be your only class): Enroll in a "trial" Ballet class online and email us to request a transfer into Pointe after approval.
Strong recommendation: Pointe should be taken with at least one Ballet class for ongoing strength and technique support.

Some classes may not appear as available because they are currently full based on our classroom size. We do our best to keep class sizes comfortable for each dancer. In some cases, we can add more students if we arrange for an additional assistant teacher.
We encourage you to reach out to us directly to check if the class is truly full or if we can accommodate more students.
